Every 4 years the EMS organises the European Microscopy Congress (EMC) in close collaboration with a local organising team. EMC is organised under the auspices of IFSM.
The Executive Board actively, on a regular basis, solicit proposals to host a European Microscopy Congress (EMC) from societies with en-bloc EMS membership or individual EMS members.
